根据道路交通安全法规定，机动车应当从注册登记之日起进行安全技术检验。其中小型、微型非营运客汽车6年以内每2年检验1次，超过6年的每年检验1次，超过15年的每6个月检验1次，超过20年的每3个月检验1次。对于这一规定，很多吐槽者都认为过于密集，有的甚至建议取消。
取消还是放宽年限
针对网上部分人建议取消车检的呼声，辽宁省质量技术监督局认证监管处调研员高长城说，从专业角度看，取消汽车年检不利于保障道路安全。“有些登记为私家车的车辆实际上是单位使用，一年甚至能行驶10万公里左右，又不按时保养，这样的车就很危险，不检验怎么行？”
究竟是该取消，还是放宽年限，其他国家是怎么做的呢？记者查阅相关资料显示，美国尽管少数州取消了年检，但大部分地方都有年审制度，比如特拉华、夏威夷、路易斯安那等州，有些地方半年一次或一年检验一次，有些宽松至两年进行一次。在德国，家用轿车前3年要进行一次检验，之后根据情况区别对待，12个月到20个月就需要进行一次车检。业内人士认为，检车制度取消无益，但要适当放宽年限，并出台针对不同车辆的年检要求。
打破“垄断”方便百姓
中国汽车流通协会常务理事、汽车行业资深分析师贾新光认为，私家车年检制度遭吐槽，也折射出另一个方面的问题——当前检车服务不够便利，甚至存在“歪风邪气”。上述业内人士介绍，汽车年检的初衷是为了确保车辆安全性，但有些检车站已经沦为牟利的一种形式。正常高龄车问题多发，最需要严格检验把关，但在有些站，找关系、多收钱就能过关，反而给道路安全带来威胁。而且检车站的审批受政府部门严格控制，实际上具有很大的垄断性，由于缺乏竞争，检车站门难进、脸难看，便民意识薄弱。
记者采访注意到，这种局面正在改善。高长城说，辽宁从2006年以后开始推进机动车安检机构社会化经营，过去汽车年检只能去为数不多的官办检车机构，现在车主可以自主选择。不过业内人士表示，这样的市场化改革并不到位，建议更多的社会化机构能够承担检车职责。据新华社
