新华网重庆2月2日电（记者陶冶）今年2月2日，是第18个“世界湿地日”。在此前夕，重庆市林业局发布消息称重庆将加大湿地保护力度，并拟在三峡库区建设长江三峡国家湿地公园。
重庆市林业局副局长张洪介绍，重庆湿地面积约20余万公顷，包括河流湿地、湖泊湿地、沼泽湿地和人工湿地4大类。其中，人工湿地面积最大，占整个重庆湿地面积的57％，而面积7．8万公顷的三峡水库湿地则是目前中国最大的人工湿地。
张洪说，近年来，重庆湿地保护管理机构逐步建立，初步形成了湿地保护体系，截至2013年底，全市已建成1个市级湿地自然保护区和11个县级湿地自然保护区，保护区面积达87783．65公顷。
据张洪介绍，下一步重庆将建立健全湿地保护管理制度，划定重庆湿地生态保护红线，确保到2017年，重庆湿地面积不少于310万亩。
张洪还透露，目前重庆市相关部门正抓紧调研和规划，拟在三峡库区建设长江三峡国家湿地公园，以更好地保护三峡库区的湿地生态环境。
