通过监控视频可以看到，画面更清晰了。而网络上传播的视频都是从这里面剪辑出来的，最后仅剩4分多钟。
柳罡等人在夜总会消费，时间长达近3个小时，监控设备共有四个通道分别拷贝，分别有通道一、四、十九、二十一，共四条，总时近12小时。各个通道不同，角度不同。正对夜总会大堂的监控，可以清楚地看到进来的每一个人。
还有许多网上视频没有的细节：丹东某公职人员在夜总会里接到了一个电话，随后提前离开了；李某落座后，坐到了柳罡旁边，而柳罡并未起身，两人看起来相互较熟。
而烧烤店内的视频只有两个通道，每一条的时间是两小时。
这些视频都是从两个商家家商店的设备上拷贝下来的，另外还有两段是白天时间段用录像机拍摄的，属于补拍，对准的是店家的门脸，而不是顾客。

辽宁良友律师事务所律师李振革律师解释表示说，公民对国家工作人员有监督的权利，但公民在行使监督权的同时不能违反法律规定。
举报人通过调取酒店录像的方式举报国家工作人的行为并不违法，但不得侵犯他人隐私，证据来源合法。
正常情况下，商家不应该向他人提供相关的视频资料，查看顾客的消费活动，但司法机关除外。如果酒店等公共场所是通过有偿方式向外泄露相关视频，那么酒店的工作人员也会触犯相关法律。
如果公民财物在酒店等公共场所遗失，公民可以通过协商，获得对方的同意，可以调取监控资料。
如果顾客的消费活动的视频被在网上传播，产生负面效果，给顾客造成损失，那么顾客可以追究其他的民事责任。
