　　有群众反映，广东东莞多个娱乐场所都存在卖淫嫖娼等违法行为，即便在春节期间，地下色情业也没有歇业。记者暗访发现，多个酒店举行“选秀”，实为卖淫。有酒店工人人员介绍，酒店也并无正规的住宿，来的客人也都是找小姐。

　　记者在东莞暗访调查发现，不光是在一些休闲娱乐场所存在色情活动，在一些被称作“城市名片”的四星级、五星级酒店中也存在明目张胆的招嫖卖淫活动。其中在太子酒店桑拿中心，公然进行“裸舞选秀”，新世界酒店则公然播放淫秽录像，床头柜摆放的服务表上有多达五十多项的淫秽色情服务内容。

　　记者随后两次报警举报东莞色情交易，无警车到场，也无警察调查，地下色情活动照常进行，记者也未接到警方任何反馈。正是因为所谓的“安全”，大量外地人专门赶到东莞进行卖淫嫖娼非法交易。
