4G套餐需要4G终端做支撑，据悉，中国电信早已做了准备，就在上周，已经有5款4G数据终端通过了中国电信在浙江义乌的实网测试。至此，首批中国电信定制的4G数据终端将获得工信部颁发的入网证，不久将上市进行商用。
此前的今年一月份，中国电信向终端厂商发出4G数据类终端集采招标需求，并启动了首轮电信TD-LTE数据类终端集中采购招标，包括无线上网卡、上网宝(MIFI)、无线网关(CPE)等三类产品。
而春节前夕，中国电信广州研究院已开始相关TD-LTE数据终端前期的入围测试工作，共有20多家厂商、提供超过50款产品参测试。厂商中既有中兴、华为、UT斯达康等老牌、主流设备厂商，又有包括达富、大亚、新邮通等新晋厂商代表。显然，首批通过测试的天翼4G终端已浮现。
三类4G终端均有入网证者
据了解，首批获得入网证的数据终端是华为和中兴的数据终端，其中，华为分别有三款数据终端获得入网证，其中上网卡、上网宝(MIFI)、无线网关(CPE)各一款；中兴有两款数据终端获得入网证，分别是一款上网卡、一款上网宝(MIFI)。
而其他厂商的数据终端，也都在浙江义乌进行实网测试，陆续将会有更多的终端分批上市商用，将支撑中国电信4G业务实际推出。
中国电信希望加快4G商用进程
春节后仅仅一周，中国电信定制的4G数据终端就获得入网证，这也显示出中国电信对4G高度重视，并积极推进定制终端的测试，督促产业链合作伙伴加快研发，丰富产品品类和款型，使消费者更早的体验到更快、更好的4G应用和服务。
这一点从整个进程就可看出，自2013年12月4日，国家发放4G牌照后，中国电信就开始积极推动TD-LTE商用，第一时间向厂商发出了《中国电信LTE终端需求白皮书》。同时，也明确要求2014年第一季度内要有超过30万部终端具备上市条件。
从中国电信获得4G牌照，到启动首批4G终端集中采购招标，再到组织终端厂商展开实网测试，最后到首批4G终端获得工信部入网证书，中国电信推进4G商用的步伐非常快，而这也与中国电信对4G高度重视有关。
