和移动一样，本次电信的天翼4G网络依然是采用自主的TD-LTE技术，不过两家运营商的营销策略却大相径庭，移动在没发牌照就已经狂轰滥炸，遍地广告，相反电信却略显低调，除了悄悄开放试用体验，连网络在六环内覆盖都是轻描淡写一带而过，一门心系FDD和3G业务让电信在4G上似乎有些漫不经心。
电信开启4G网络商用
虽然脚步有些迟疑，但是对于电信用户来说这仍然是个好消息，3G时代电信天翼以高速网络和优惠的资费套餐赢得了不少用户。在期盼4G网络的欲望被移动点燃之后，大家也在期待电信在4G时代有所作为，尤其是4G资费套餐方面，我们希望看到电信会和移动有一次正面的价格交锋，不过从目前发布的天翼4G流量资费来看，电信想要迅速抢占市场并没有足够的价格优势，同时我们期待的流量“G”时代依然没有到来，以“M”为单位的流量包还是主流。首先我们来对比一下目前电信和移动4G流量套餐资费。
优势不足电信/移动4G流量资费对比
目前电信公布的4G资费共分为两种，分别针对正在接受预定的MiFi和上网卡，我们针对MiFi卡的流量资费进行对比。

除了移动比电信多出400M和600M两档低资费流量套餐外，其余套餐资费两者完全相同，也就是说目前而言，电信4G在资费价格上还没有占据任何优势，而且选择余地也比目前移动要少。
电信4G上网卡
很多人都在期待电信4G的加入能够促进当前4G资费的调整，从而让电信何移动能够实现充分的市场竞争机制，不过电信并没有遵循3G业务发展套路，连套餐资费都要抄袭移动。

不过相比中国移动，中国电信还推出了半年卡和年卡套餐，其中半年卡300元/6G，年卡为600元/12G。另外超出流量部分中国移动0.29元/M略低于中国电信的0.31元/M。但在2014年6月30日之前，中国电信超出部分按0.0001元/KB(约合0.10元/M)计算。从移动下调套餐外流量资费的做法来看，电信未来很可能继续维持0.1元/M的做法。
4G时代网络速率大幅提升，在如此高的资费情况下还推出以“M”为单位的流量包，对于用户来说显然吸引力不足。高资费、低流量包形成的矛盾也促使运营商尽快降低资费，尽快进入4G网络的“G”时代。
4G开启商用电信4G为何漫不经心？
同样是TDD-LTE网络，而且不如市场时间较晚，电信为何在市场推广初期如此漫不经心？很明白电信并没有将重心放在当天的TDD-LTE网络。
事实上在国内发展4G初期，电信的3G业务发展势头正旺，并没有下决心上4G，可以说电信如此转变很大程度上是被一直挨打的中国移动“绑架”。其次电信初期规划的是国际上大部分国家使用的FDD-LTE制式网络，不成想最后被迫接受TDD-LTE和FDD-LTE混合组网的模式。而FDD-LTE牌照迟迟按住不发，电信也是有力使不出，最后只能通过提前上TDD-LTE弥补市场。
不过从目前4G手机终端来看，大部分手机都可以实现混网使用，未来电信的4G手机也应该同时支持TDD-LTE和FDD-LTE两种制式，对于大家选网络没有太多困难。只能说现在的资费和网络还不足以令人满意，更多的期待联通的迅速介入以及FDD网络的加快商用，使整个市场进入充分的竞争环境中，用市场的力量推动体验和资费进入合理轨道。
