此次事件发生在凤岗，充分暴露自己在担任凤岗镇党委书记期间，对“扫黄”工作的重要性认识不够深刻，对“黄流”的存在没有引起高度重视，没有正确履行社会综合治理的职责，对“扫黄”工作缺乏深入调研，没有第一时间掌握全镇“涉黄”违法情况，部署“扫黄”工作不够周密细致，对镇职能部门工作监管和督导严重缺失，对打击“涉黄”违法活动措施不力，没有形成长效治理机制，致使全镇“涉黄”违法活动屡禁不止，不断死灰复燃，损害了东莞的城市形象，愧对了市委市政府和全市人民。在此，我本人向全市人民表示诚挚道歉。
在今后的工作中，我将痛定思痛、深刻反省、吸取教训、全力以赴，把这次曝光事件作为根除凤岗镇“黄、赌、毒”问题的突破口，以刮骨疗毒的决心和铁腕整治的力度，化压力为动力，坚持标本兼治，采取有效措施，集中力量打一场“扫黄”攻坚战、歼灭战和持久战，彻底杜绝凤岗镇涉黄违法犯罪活动。
