过去一年查处的腐败案件
1.从化市原市长郭清和案；
2.广州市人大常委会教科文卫委原主任委员谷文耀案；
3.广州市科信局原局长、党组书记谢学宁案；
4.广州市畜牧总公司原总经理闻伟龙案；
5.广州市国营白云农工商联合公司经理张新华案等；
6.天河区沙东街沙东有利集团有限公司原党委书记兼董事长杨锦兴受贿案；
7.萝岗区萝岗街长平社区党支部原书记张振雄贪污苗圃征地拆迁补偿款案；
8.番禺区南村镇塘埗东村村委会原主任陈志强受贿案等。

2013年，广州市各级纪检监察机关共受理群众信访举报7225件(次)，同比下降31.25%；
初核线索3241件，同比上升627%；
立案659件682人(含市管干部14件14人)，同比上升31.54%和26.77%；
结案707件，同比上升86.54%。

违纪主体呈现职务级别渐高、年龄层次下降的趋势，被立案查处干部平均年龄45.74岁，处级以上干部平均年龄50.12岁。

窝案串案比较普遍，违纪违法案件中团伙性、牵连性特征日趋突出。共查处系列违纪案件8件，合计9名局级干部及27名处级干部落马。

权力集中、资金密集、资源稀缺领域仍是腐败行为易发多发的“高危区”，涉案人数同比上升了26.77%。
商业贿赂
较为突出
涉案行业逐渐从行政执法权力部门向市场服务管理部门蔓延。因商业贿赂行为被立案查处的268件，占处级以上干部案件的60.84%，占局级以上干部案件的93.33%。
“小官大贪”
农村基层干部“小官大贪”问题明显，涉案问题多与农村土地征收补偿、村集体补助、村资产租赁等有关，通常涉案金额巨大。
作案手段
日趋隐蔽
明目张胆的显性腐败有所收敛，钻法律空子、打政策擦边球、利用各种手段掩饰腐败意图的隐性腐败日益增多。今年以来查处的市管领导干部，从首次作案到发案，违纪违法行为的潜伏期平均为5.8年，个别案件长达10年甚至更长。
