公务用枪的配备品种主要为手枪、冲锋枪、突击步枪、自动步枪、狙击步枪、班用机枪和防暴枪等7种，而押运员以配备防暴枪等长枪为主。
穗保押运一名从业多年的车长老李告诉南都记者，选择防暴枪作为押运用枪，主要是由于其使用方便，用的是霰弹，填充物是小钢珠，近距离杀伤力极大，如果遇到犯罪分子冲上前，不需要精确瞄准，端起来射击即可制敌。之所以选择长枪，还考虑到万一丢失，犯罪分子藏匿也较困难。
老李说，公司使用的是97式防暴枪，有到位保险、扳机保险和闭锁保险3道保险。“要用右手食指压下到位保险，然后左手一拉一推手柄形成闭锁子弹上膛，再打开扳机保险才可射击。”
今年2月9日，穗保押运一名年轻押运员在押运行车途中，随身携带的防暴枪突然走火，击中自己头部导致死亡。对此，至今穗保押运的许多押运员仍心存疑虑。“一般安全起见，值勤时我们都不会打开保险，为何枪还会走火？”
雄性的行当
小何说，押运员是一个很雄性的行当，有点像古时候的“镖师”，许多年轻人选择入行，很大程度上也是对枪械、装备比较喜欢，从而被吸引。“不过等真正做这行才发现，看起来威风，其实身体、心理要承受很大的压力。”
根据规定，押运公司要设立专门的枪支保管库，枪支与弹药必须分开存放，枪支弹药库的门窗必须安装防盗报警设施。押运员任务执行完毕，必须将枪支、弹药交还，严禁非执行任务时携带枪支、弹药，更不允许携带枪支、弹药饮酒或者酒后携带枪支、弹药。
值勤时，头戴钢盔，身上穿的是近10斤重的防弹衣，密闭的运钞车，是对押运员和钞箱最有效的防护，但到了天热的季节，押运员经常是全身汗透。“没有好的体能，根本做不来。”
保密守则，是押运员必须遵守的。押运时间，行车路线、钞箱数量是绝对不准泄露的。虽然每天和装满现金的钞箱打交道，但押运员并不知道箱里有多少 钱。押箱不押钱，是押运行业的行规，钞箱都有保险锁并贴有专门的封条。“有时也可以通过钞箱的数量和重量判断，每日经手的至少过千万元。”
在押运途中，必须按照计划的路线行驶，不能无故改变路线或停车、离车，每辆运钞车上装有定位的G PS，能在总部监控每一辆运钞车的位置。持枪承担主要安保工作的护卫员责任最重。护卫员首先要做到枪不离身，高度集中注意力观察四周。
10米的警戒
根据2002年7月国务院公布实施的《专职守护押运人员枪支使用管理条例》规定，列明遇有下列紧急情形之一，不使用枪支不足以制止暴力犯罪行为 的，可以使用枪支：一是守护目标、押运物品受到暴力袭击或者有受到暴力袭击的紧迫危险；二是专职守护、押运人员受到暴力袭击危及生命安全或者所携带的枪支 弹药受到抢夺、抢劫；三是专职守护、押运人员在存放大量易燃、易爆、剧毒、放射性等危险物品的场所，不得使用枪支；但是，不使用枪支制止犯罪行为将会直接 导致严重危害后果发生的除外。
小何说，虽然他们从未遇到过以上紧急的情况，但平日值勤时，还是会有不少市民误闯警戒范围。警戒范围一般是运钞车10米内，但许多老城区银行网 点路窄人多，势必会有不少路人或是到银行办业务的市民靠近运钞车，这种情况下需要押运员精神高度集中，“有时免不了会神经紧张。”小何说，“过分靠近运钞 车的人、戴着帽子或手揣兜的人、神色紧张四周观望的人，都是我们特别注意的。”
小何还说，有的市民可能是没留意，并不是有意靠近运钞车，押运员一般会劝其绕路走开，但也有好奇的市民“会用开玩笑的口吻，问我们枪里有没有子弹、是不是真弹，遇到这种情况我们有时也很无奈。”
个人押运冷落
在广州城区，银行网点的押运业务主要由穗保押运和正汇押运负责。其中，穗保押运负责中心城区和包括增城、从化、花都、黄埔在内的银行网点，而正汇押运业务主要集中在番禺和南沙。
穗保押运业务包括3种，对银行网点、企事业单位以及个人提供武装押运业务。其中穗保押运对广州银行网点的市场覆盖率高达90%，包括16家分行级专业银行，支行253家，服务网点1660多个。另外，还为高速收费站、加油站和数十家企事业单位提供服务。
穗保押运公司位于白云区同和，占地3万多平方米，是目前华南地区最大的押运基地，拥有大型金库，“平常可以说是重兵把守的。”南都记者获悉，穗 保押运原由广州市公安局直接领导和管理，2011年穗保押运交由国资委管理，广州市公安局对其业务有指导关系，如人员培训后的考核、枪支管理监督等，人 事、财务则由穗保押运负责。
穗保押运总经理李舒还表示，2005年公安部放开了个人武装押款业务，从那时起该公司就开展了该类业务，但至今都还是乏人问津，“每个月才几宗。”
“一方面，有个体老板认为请押运公司反而是露富。”按规定，武装押运须用专业运钞车，押运员也须着装持枪上岗。“这样一来，别人不都知道你有钱了吗？”另一方面，押运公司对个人押运的物品也有很多要求，除押箱不押钱的行规，个人还要证明所押运物品是合法的。
押镖攻略
镖头：一般由一名护卫员充当车长，负责押运途中的一切事宜，包括对突发情况的现场决断。

选拔：最重要的是看能不能控制自己，冲动、暴躁的人不要。选中后，要参加训练，主要的是枪械射击训练，训练合格了才能拿到持枪证，有了证才能上岗。
武器：以防暴枪为主，其使用方便，用的是霰弹，填充物是小钢珠，近距离杀伤力极大，如果遇到犯罪分子冲上前，不需要精确瞄准，端起来射击即可制敌。

税前平均月薪三千多
押运员称精神压力大
押运员小周和小何谈起自己的工作，都提到“工作压力大、时间长，但收入不高”的情况。
小何说，他工作了5年，现在每月拿到手的工资，扣除了社保和公积金，不过3000余元。小周提供的去年某月的工资条中，包括基础工资70 0元，月考勤奖金350元，月绩效奖金350元，法定日延长工作工资1100元，休息日延长工作工资695元，伙食补贴300元，应发合计为3495元， 扣除社保266元，公积金285元，计税工资为2944元。
据南都记者向多名押运员了解，他们的收入不计年终奖及因违规而被扣罚的金额，税前平均月薪是3000多元，而年终奖方面，如正汇押运的年终奖则是双薪。一般来说，驾驶员和车长的工资稍高一些，但大家月薪差距都是几百块钱。
不少押运员反映，每个月工资不高，但上班时间较长。“平日一大早6点钟就要出车，有时中午可以休息一两个小时，晚上八九点才能收车，如果年底忙的时候晚上10-11点才能收车。”
每月的工资收入，还与扣分扣罚紧密挂钩。由于实行军事化管理，只要有违规内容就会被扣分，“扣分了就扣钱。”南都记者拿到一份穗保押运去年1月 的绩效奖扣罚统计表，上面列明了50名押运员违规扣分的统计，其中“被子叠放质量差”扣3分罚150元，“执行任务时用手机玩游戏”扣10分罚500元， 还有“枪支理论考试不合格”扣3分罚150元，如果驾驶员出了交通事故，“发生全责交通事故”要扣10分罚500元。小周说，繁多的扣分内容，不仅让他们 收入减少，也加大了上班时的精神压力，“有些扣分是对的，但有些就有点苛刻了。”
穗保押运的车长老李，每天出车都会携枪，他坦言自己依旧心理压力大。老李说，押运过程中，虽然子弹入弹夹，“但枪从枪房出来到回到枪房，一般大家都不会打开保险的，否则太危险，万一走火怎么办？”

内部管理严 人员流失大
昨日，南都记者采访了穗保押运总经理李舒，他表示：“这是个新兴的行业，没有先例可以参考，经营管理都要靠摸索。”李舒说，国家对武装押运的人 员、枪支管理有许多法例规范，“公司内部的管理肯定比一般企业要严格。”李舒透露，广州市公安局负责对押运员进行考核，每月都会到公司检查枪支存放管理情 况。
李舒说，公司招聘的押运员人员流失很大。“两个月的培训期结束，有30%-40%的人要离开。”由于是年轻人居多，“新鲜感一过，干不久就辞职了。”
中国人民公安大学教授王太元：
高风险行业人员应提高保障
中国人民公安大学治安学院教授王太元昨日接受南都记者采访时认为，像武装押运这种高风险行业，工资待遇尤其是保险保障应有所提高侧重。
王太元说，目前国内存在重级别、重知识，轻体力劳动的现象，以武装押运员为例，一般是学历不高的年轻人，做的主要是体力劳动，而且面临高风险。不过，由于并非直接产生利益的工作岗位，他们所得并不多。
