车辆急刹
塌陷地点位于甜水园街与水碓子东街红绿灯路口，该处紧邻秀水园小区东门约20米。
据周边商铺员工郑女士介绍，昨天下午3点半，马路路口一井盖处突然有水冒出，积水约有15厘米高，并流向两侧，大概10分钟后，路面突然塌陷，出现了一个大坑，坑内满是积水，约有2米深。
“那时红灯刚变成绿灯，紧接着听到两辆私家车踩急刹的声音，幸亏他们及时发现，否则后果不堪设想”，郑女士称。
施工不当
昨天下午5点，陷坑区域已被施工人员拉上警戒线，甜水园街北口至金台路口约两公里路段已实行交通管制。记者在现场看到，陷坑区域直径约5米、坑内深度亦约5米，自来水集团工人正从坑内往外抽水，排入马路两侧的下水道内。
一名施工工人称，事故系周边市政地下施工不当引发塌陷，并造成自来水管断裂，发现问题后，他们将更换新管道，等施工完成进行回填，预计今天凌晨能抢修完毕。
家中停水
事发后，为配合抢修工作，工作人员将塌陷区域的自来水管道阀门关停，导致附近的秀水园小区7栋楼的居民停水。随后，自来水集团派5辆应急供水车分赴小区各个通道，缓解居民用水问题。据居委会工作人员称，此次受影响的居民约有300户。
此外，受甜水园街道路面塌陷影响，30路、31路、117路等15条公交线路采取了绕行措施。
