The first registered volunteer organ donation website

According to Xinhua News Agency, China's first organ donation system--registered volunteer organ donation volunteer registration site (www.savelife.org.CN) launched on 19th. Final donation or not, depends on whether the citizens met in line with organ donor medical status (who inevitable heart of brain death or death), also needs to be close relatives of citizens (parents, spouse or adult children) agrees.

According to the State family planning Commission of health statistics, some 300,000 people need organ transplants each year, but only about 10,000 are complete transplants. Organ donation shortage is one of the main reasons. National Health Planning Commission HA, Deputy Director of medical administration Zhou Jun said at the launch site, registered volunteer organ donation network is an important human organ donation collaborative project results. This project by the national family planning Commission, Hong Kong and Macao Office of health, Rotary International District 3450, first affiliated hospital of Zhongshan University, China shared computer systems, distribution of human organs to implement them.

At the launch ceremony, being employed as organ donation Ambassador famous Hong Kong actor Eric Tsang-site registration, became the first registered volunteer organ donation.

　　据新华社电 国内首个器官捐献志愿者登记系统——器官捐献志愿者登记网站(www.savelife.org.cn)19日启动。公民可自行登记成为器官捐献志愿者，并且有权随时修改或取消其捐献登记。

　　据悉，按要求填写姓名、国籍、证件号码、手机号码等个人信息，选择愿意捐献的人体器官和组织类别后，即可正式成为器官捐献志愿者。最终捐献与否，取决于公民是否达到了符合器官捐献的医学状态(世界卫生组织规定的脑死亡或不可避免的心跳死亡)，同时还需得到公民近亲属(父母、配偶或成年子女)的同意。

　　据国家卫生计生委统计，我国每年约有30万人需要器官移植，但只有约1万人能够完成移植。器官捐献不足是主要原因之一。国家卫生计生委医政医管局副局长周军在网站启动仪式上说，器官捐献志愿者登记网是人体器官捐献合作项目的重要成果。该项目由国家卫生计生委港澳台办公室、国际扶轮3450地区、中山大学附属第一医院、中国人体器官分配与共享计算机系统共同合作实施。

　　在启动仪式上，获聘为器官捐献宣传大使的香港著名演员曾志伟现场注册，成为第一个登记的器官捐献志愿者。
