新华网哈尔滨3月23日电(记者王建)记者从国家林业局猫科动物研究中心获悉，该中心科研人员过去一年远赴黑龙江、吉林的东北虎、东北豹分布的自然保护区开展调查。最新监测显示，东北虎、东北豹整体呈恢复增长趋势，数量很可能已增加到30余只。
据悉，国家林业局猫科动物研究中心与世界自然基金会、黑龙江、吉林林业部门合作，在东方红、绥阳、东宁、珲春、汪清等林场布设了200余台自动监测相机，建起“虎豹及其猎物监测平台”，能清晰抓拍到进入距镜头10米内野生动物。
东北林业大学教授、国家林业局猫科动物研究中心常务副主任姜广顺说，从监测资料中可以看出，大多数野生动物体形健壮、毛色光鲜，表明它们吃得饱、玩得好，保护区的生态环境转好，尤其近年来珍稀物种的数量在不断恢复增长。
姜广顺表示，不同点位的相机多次拍到东北虎和东北豹，出现频率明显增多，证明栖息地活动范围正在扩大，中国境内存在着定居繁衍家族，同时说明其食物链充足，十分适宜虎豹种群复壮。
东北虎是世界十大濒危野生物种之一，目前仅存不到500只，主要分布在俄罗斯远东和中国东北山林中。而东北豹是金钱豹的亚种，被列入世界极度濒危物种，全球现存不到60只，大多数在俄罗斯，中国估计有10余只。
