　　奥巴马夫人米歇尔于下午1时到达慕田峪长城脚下的小园餐厅，这是一间美国夫妇开的特色餐厅。

　　餐厅原是村里废弃的一所小学校，2006年美国人萨杨与美籍华人妻子租赁了学校，在保留原有结构下将校园改造成了餐厅，名字就用校园的谐音——小园。餐室门口挂着班级门牌，餐厅内还保留了教室的黑板、讲台以及儿童画风格的墙报。

　　虽然是美国人在中式老房子开的餐厅，这里的菜品却是偏意大利风格，比如意大利饺子，人均餐标在180元人民币左右。

　　今天上午，小园餐厅在周边拉起了警戒线，餐厅工作人员只知道：“要来个大人物，包场”，但具体是谁不能透露，普通的就餐接待也推迟到下午。

　　米歇尔中午就餐的菜单无从得知，但据知情人士透露，以西餐为主，部分食材是她从美国带来的。

　　小园餐厅所在的慕田峪村是个不折不扣的国际村，目前有12个国家的老外入住该村开办洋民俗项目。洋村民在保持中国北方民居传统风貌的同时，也运用了壁炉、吊灯、油画等西方元素，这也是当地最大的看点。米歇尔此行选择在这里就餐，能够亲身感受中国文化与西方文化的交融，正契合了此次夫人外交之行的目的。

　　米歇尔登长城徒步、缆车并用

　　午餐过后，米歇尔与女儿将来到慕田峪长城。今天的慕田峪长城，没有因为米歇尔这位美国贵宾的到来而封闭景区，游人依然可以在景区游览。

　　景区风和日丽，背包游客三两成群顺着坡道往景区方向漫步，其中既有中国游客，也有国际面孔。记者询问一家从市区到慕田峪观光的市民，是否知道今天米歇尔会在慕田峪攀登长城？这家人表示十分惊喜，希望能在长城上“偶遇”这位美国第一夫人。

　　据景区工作人员介绍，米歇尔将与女儿兵分两路攀登长城。米歇尔将独自向西段长城游览，这一段路程较为平缓，路线也比较长，米歇尔将先徒步在长城上行走一段，再乘坐缆车鸟瞰周边风景。她将途经小铺房，15、16、17、18、19号敌楼，往返时间大约在1小时20分。

　　另外一队的米歇尔的两个女儿，在工作人员引导下，将从缆车平台进入长城游览段往东经过13、12、11、10、9、8、7、6号敌楼到达滑道，乘坐滑道下山，游览时长约为1小时左右。出滑道后，女儿们将在购物商店挑选一些具有中国特色的旅游纪念品，带给美国的家人和朋友。

　　为米歇尔准备了攀登证书和城砖

　　为了欢迎米歇尔的到来，慕田峪长城将14号和15号敌楼举办一个简短的欢迎仪式，因为这里视野开阔，城墙保存相对完整，接待历届国际友人都在这个平台。在这里，米歇尔将获赠一份证明她来过长城的“登城证书”以及一块长城城砖的复制品。

　　据悉，1998年克林顿总统一家游览慕田峪长城时，也曾获赠慕田峪长城模型、长城的画册和登上长城的证书。

　　为何选择慕田峪？

　　“不到长城非好汉”，此前有五位访华的美国总统都曾在长城上留下足迹。

　　2009年，奥巴马访华时也游览了长城。当时正值大雪过后，奥巴马攀爬了八达岭长城，游览了1座平台、3座敌楼、365米城墙，游览时间长达40分钟。

　　米歇尔此次偕同女儿选择攀登慕田峪长城，除了希望参观一下奥巴马未曾游览的这段长城外，或许也是替奥巴马总统先行“探路”。今年10月，第22次APEC (亚太经合组织领导人非正式会议)将在北京怀柔举办，奥巴马总统也会应邀出席，届时也将在怀柔参会和住宿，极有可能会攀登这段长城。
