米歇尔访华会吃点啥，这也是网友们十分关心的问题。昨晚，米歇尔一行将家宴地址选在了位于东三环长虹桥东南侧的大董烤鸭店(团结湖店)。不过，米歇尔本人因为过于疲劳没有去吃饭，她的母亲和女儿一共10人前往用餐。
记者了解到，昨天中午，该店不再接受晚餐的订单，午餐的顾客也要在下午2点前结束用餐，准备接待米歇尔一行到店用餐。
但是下午，店方接到了通知，“美方官员说米歇尔昨天太累了，而且身体也不太舒服，所以不能来。”大董的董事长董振祥告诉记者。该店还是按照原计划为美国第一家庭的其他成员，奉上了北京风味的晚餐。餐厅晚间正常营业，大厅散座可以接待顾客就餐。
晚餐完全是按照中餐的方式，包含了2个凉菜、10个热菜、烤鸭2套以及4款主食，主食中不仅有包子、饺子，还有老北京炸酱面。
今天上午，大董烤鸭店值班的刘经理告诉记者，“昨晚用餐的包括米歇尔的两个女儿和母亲在内，总共十个人，花费有三千多元。”

当天上午11时左右，米歇尔一行从西华门进入故宫博物院，游览将近一个小时。当天，故宫短时间封闭了三大殿、后三宫以及御花园区域，当米歇尔夫人一行离开后则重新开放。
据了解，外国首脑及政要参观故宫的时间一般在1个小时左右。故宫不主张清场接待，基本上是短时封闭一部分路线。
故宫宫殿沿一条南北向的中轴线排列，三大殿(太和殿、中和殿、保和殿)、后三宫(乾清宫、交泰殿、坤宁宫)、御花园都位于中轴线之上，这条中轴线也是外国元首游览故宫的基本线路。
据介绍，路线选择上要根据计划参观的时间或外方的一些要求，希望通过展示中国古代建筑、礼制陈设、皇家生活，使其了解中华民族博大精深的文明历史。前天，米歇尔一行也选择了这条参观路线。
此外，故宫原则上不会为外宾开放一些“游人禁入”的宫殿。对有些多次到访、对故宫和中华民族传统文化了解并十分感兴趣的外国元首或首脑，会为其增加作为文化交流的地点。
馆长亲自讲解 送图书做礼物
据了解，前天故宫博物院院长单霁翔亲自“挂帅”为米歇尔一行讲解。外国贵宾参观时，一般由故宫博物院宣传教育部导引组组长担任“解说员”，但有重要宾客来访时，单院长会亲自为来宾解说。
单霁翔在解说时表示，故宫在北京的中轴线上，在美国华盛顿，国会山到林肯纪念堂也在一条中轴线上，这说明中美在建筑和城市规划上也有相通之处。
当米歇尔问到三大殿的名字为何都取“和”字时，单霁翔介绍说，这体现了中国文化注重和谐。彭丽媛笑着对米歇尔说，中国人讲究“家和万事兴”，米歇尔点头赞同。
故宫博物院每次在接待外国首脑参观结束时，均会向外宾赠送纪念品。此次故宫赠送给米歇尔的是故宫出版社出版的《十二美人》图书。图书通过十二美人图一窥清宫廷生活细节和宫廷陈设的规范。

外国政要参观前如何准备？
国家元首、政府首脑来参观前，故宫博物院都会在得到外交部正式通知后进行准备。
首先，通过外交部了解到计划参观的时间、他们的兴趣或想参观的内容以及第几次来故宫参观等信息。依据这些内容与外交部商议给出参观计划，包括路线、重点讲解内容等。
其次，进行踩道工作。多数外方都会提出踩道，一般一次，多的达十余次，以保障当天参观的有序性。一般踩道后，经各方商议确定参观计划，有的会经过几轮更改，有的参观时会根据实际条件调整。
