新闻点击以第一夫人名字命名的郁金香
用名人的名字来为郁金香命名，在荷兰有很悠久的传统。

特别的渊源
30多年前荷兰王室来华赠花
法晚记者了解到，北京中山公园和北京植物园种植了多种郁金香品种。目前，中山公园的百余个郁金香品种都是选自荷兰。
说起北京郁金香与荷兰的渊源，中山公园园林科技科科长袁继江打开了话匣子。
1977年5月荷兰女王(当时的荷兰公主)贝娅特丽克丝偕克劳斯亲王对我国进行友好访问，受到了热情接待。
当年10月6日，她委托荷兰驻华使馆赠送给我国39个品种4箱郁金香种球。外交部接收后转交给了北京市中山公园栽培。
从1978年开始，公园在内坛露地栽种了3555头郁金香供游人观赏。以后年年栽种。
郁金香成为中荷两国人民友谊的象征，我国也由此开启了种植、应用郁金香的历史。
这是北京市公园内首批来自荷兰的郁金香。
袁科长说：“那个时候，郁金香是稀罕的花种，除了植物园内可能有研究种植外，对外开放的所有公园都没有郁金香。”
北京郁金香有几十个品种
此外，位于北京顺义的北京国际鲜花港也是北京地区最大的郁金香种植基地和展区之一，郁金香展示区占地共计1200亩，种植了400万株郁金香，共有几十个品种，所有郁金香都是从郁金香原产地荷兰引进并培育而成。
