澳大利亚总理托尼·阿博特23日在公开讲话中，提到过去24小时里搜寻工作的三大最新进展，其中两项都和中国有关，分别是中国提供的卫星图片与澳大利亚政府此前公布的卫星图像一致，以及中国的飞机加入到搜索行动中。在中澳搜寻工作磋商中，澳大利亚政府高度评价中国政府做出的不懈努力。
