Both sides should give full play to bilateral cooperation mechanism to promote trade facilitation, vigorously expand trade in high technology products and services such as financial services, tourism, transport, culture and trade, while deepening agricultural cooperation, expanding cooperation in energy saving and environmental protection, urban planning and other fields.
XI said, the Chinese Government encourages Chinese enterprises to the more powerful Netherlands investment, would also welcome more Netherlands enterprises to invest in China, Societe Generale, setting up research and development centers and regional headquarters. China is ready to join hands with Dutch, oppose trade protectionism and properly resolve trade friction that may arise, and to maintain healthy and stable development of Sino-EU economic and trade cooperation.
XI Jinping concluded by saying that this year is the Chinese new year, we would like to join hands with Dutch, in promoting bilateral relations in Sino-EU relations ahead. I believe that, as long as both Governments and business friends, faith, seize the opportunities, the Sino-Dutch economic and trade cooperation will definitely break new ground, and better benefit the two countries and the two peoples.
William Alexander King said in a speech, Netherlands is China's important cooperative partner in Europe, and we are proud. Netherlands admires China's achievements, identify opportunities and challenges for the development of China, willing to work in their respective development processes, enhance mutually beneficial cooperation, common development and prosperity of the partners.
The two Presidents also witnessed the enterprises of the two countries signed several cooperation documents.

习近平表示，中国正在全面深化改革，荷兰外向型经济发达。深化中荷务实合作，既有利于促进两国自身发展，也有利于推动世界经济稳定复苏。中方真诚欢迎荷兰企业积极参与中国改革发展，分享机遇。双方要充分发挥双边合作机制作用，促进贸易便利化，大力拓展高技术产品贸易和金融、旅游、运输、文化等服务贸易，在深化农业合作的同时，拓展节能环保、城市规划等领域合作。
习近平说，中国政府鼓励更多有实力的中国企业到荷兰投资，也欢迎更多荷兰企业赴华投资兴业、设立研发中心和地区总部。中方愿同荷方一道，反对贸易保护主义，妥善化解可能出现的贸易摩擦，共同维护中欧经贸合作健康稳定发展。
习近平最后表示，今年是中国农历马年，我们愿同荷方一道，共促两国关系在中欧关系中一马当先。我相信，只要两国政府和企业界朋友坚定信念、把握机遇，中荷经贸合作一定会开辟新天地，更好造福两国和两国人民。
威廉-亚历山大国王在致辞中表示，荷兰是中国在欧洲重要合作伙伴，我们感到骄傲。荷兰钦佩中国的成就，认同中国发展面临的机遇和挑战，愿在两国各自发展进程中，加强互利合作，做共同发展繁荣的伙伴。
两国元首还共同见证了两国企业多项合作文件的签署。
