通知中强调，人民银行各分支机构应当密切关注比特币及其他类似的具有匿名、跨境流通便利等特征的虚拟商品的动向及态势，认真研判洗钱风险，研究制定有针对性的防范措施。
著名IT评论家王易见表示，虽然央行对此进行了澄清，但是可以肯定的是，比特币玩家已经“风声鹤唳”，一切对比特币不利的传闻都可能导致其暴跌，比特币这一体系已经越来越脆弱。
