据了解,目前中铁快运日均零单量在150万单左右,但其中只有30%提供“门到门”服务。

徐勇指出,高铁快递在加大市场化运作、扩大规模、同时提高服务范围及质量的前提下,有望成为快递行业的新星,在快递市场扮演着一支不容小觑的力量。

尽管高铁配送存在不足需要破解,但中铁快运已经引发了行业从业者的担忧。“绝对的资源优势也将带来不公平竞争”,业内人士担心,拥有资源优势的中铁快运或会成为下一个EMS,因为“不公平”竞争成为异类,甚至拖累整体行业服务等环节的发展。据了解,中铁快运为中国铁路总公司直属企业,中国铁路总公司正是去年铁道部实施政企分离后挂牌成立的,该公司主要承担铁道部原有的企业职责。
