根据《纽约时报》最新刊发的报道，华为成为美国国家安全局代号“Shotgiant”项目的目标，NSA从2007年开始就侵入深圳华为公司的服务器，以看其是否与中国政府有联系，同时监控华为高管的通信，并收集华为产品的信息。
事实上，对于这个消息不必太过惊讶，毕竟，在包含了联合国秘书长潘基文，德国总理默克尔，巴西总统罗塞夫等多达35国领导人的监听名单上，再添上几个中国企业的名字，对美国来说，也绝非什么困难之事。

对此，中科院研究生院管理学院副院长、教授吕本富：美国的监控早已超过对政府等机构的范畴，不仅一些国家的领导人未能幸免，现在看来一些大型企业也未能幸免，华为是众多受害者之一。值得警惕的是，我国一些重要的技术领域也存在被监控的风险，国家和企业都需要加强信息安全建设，以防止类似事件再次发生。
著名经济学家、经济学博士王福重也表示，美国入侵企业服务器不值得大惊小怪，毕竟连美国盟友的领导人都在被监听之列，但我们不去过分揣测这种行为的恶意。而且我们知道，全球互联网一共有13个根服务器，其中有1个主根服务器和9个辅根服务器在美国，因此美国是有优势条件的。

如果《纽约时报》的报道属实，我们对于此类入侵、渗透到我们的内部网络并监控通信的行为表示强烈谴责。尽管当今数字时代的现状就是公司的网络不断遭到来自不同源头的监控和攻击。但我们再次重申，华为反对一切危害网络安全的行为，并愿意以最为开放透明的态度与各国政府、行业、用户一起合作，共同应对全球网络安全挑战。
