自3月18日中联通宣布4G商用后，联通在北京、广东等地开办4G业务。广东联通表示，第一周广东联通收到网上预约约10万人，预约成功后自5月1日起生效。

1、“4G/3G一体化资费套餐”具体分为两种情况，一种是新用户可直接购买4G号卡，另一种是老用户可预约变更为“4G/3G一体化资费套餐”，预约成功后自5月1日起生效。

2、“4G/3G一体化资费套餐”存一得三，号卡有两种，一种是120元版，存120元得360元话费（76元套餐），从次月起，每月返还30元，总计360元；另一种是存240元得720元话费，从次月起，每月返还60元，总计720元。

3、有8个档位大流量套餐，从400MB到11GB，用户套餐外流量不足1GB时按照0.30元/MB计费收费，达到60元（即200MB）时，用户将额外获得824MB免费流量（即60元/GB），之后每超出200MB都按照这个规则收费。

中联通推出套餐外国内流量“双封顶”措施，对于用户超出套餐外国内流量达到600元后，停止计费，但用户仍可继续使用。当国内流量达到15GB时，将自动关闭数据功能。

4、广东首批城市中包括5个地市：广州、深圳、东莞、佛山、中山，到营业厅体验4G用户已近20万人。北京联通10010网站已开始推出4G服务，并发布数款4G手机和4G上网卡。
