据了解，庐江县将《问政庐江》节目的开展情况已经列入参与单位党风廉政建设、政风行风评议、政务公开等年度考核内容。因为创新了效能督查的形式，这档节目还被写进了2013年该县的《政府工作报告》当中。一位政府工作人员表示，节目播出后的第二天视频就会挂在政府网站的首页，而且大家都在议论节目，在他看来这档过于尖锐的节目无疑是挑战着人情社会的承受底线。这种改变归因于一年前庐江县上下推进的效能提速活动，因为其出台举措的力度和密度被当地人称作效能风暴。从给四大班子领导打分到拟任副科级干部财产公示到电视问政，再到近期公布主要领导手机号码，在短短一两年时间，庐江县委县政府就打出了一套组合拳，招招都砸在了要害上，让“庸、懒、散、奢”的机关痼疾无处藏身。在庐江县县委书记王民生看来，如果干部不干事，就会慢慢地滑向腐败，有一大堆事情要做，他们就没有精力去腐败。庐江的做法是系统性的，是把效能建设与反腐败联通起来，其目的在于，既把干部看起来，又把他们的工作状态调查起来。
