北青报：现在的海况和气候条件如何？
徐挺：目前“雪龙”号所在海域气象条件还行，风速5、6米/秒，涌浪大概2米左右，所以现在航行一切正常。
北青报：何时接到改变航向的任务？
徐挺：上午与空军联系后，发现新的疑似目标点，得到国家有关部门的支持后，我们直接朝着新的目标点展开搜寻。目前我们现在已经行驶到疑似物的“边缘”地带。
北青报：现在的航行速度如何？
徐挺：航行速度和下午相比有所调整，大致维持在6节到7节左右(6至7海里/小时)。下午6点我们得到了最新的气象云图，图像显示，从明早8点开始，发现疑似碎片区域的海况将逐步恶劣，这种情况还将持续到25日晚上。综合气象专家的意见，如果现在去了，可能会陷入恶劣海况，对“雪龙”号航行造成威胁，所以现在航行速度有所下降。

北青报：如何展开搜寻工作？
徐挺：除了船上工作人员用望远镜观测，船上还有雷达系统进行监测。雷达屏幕上会显示不同物体的亮度，这也有助于我们发现线索。此外，船上有2架直升机，一架用于运货，一架是“海豚”直升机。现在处于西风带，海况不好，只要在条件允许的情况下，我们就会调动直升机展开巡查，它们将在疑似海域执行巡查任务。
北青报：船上工作人员怎么调配？
徐挺：我们船上除了船员正常值班，其他考察队员和船员，一共安排6个班，每个班安排大约10个人，每人大约执行4个小时的巡查任务。随着逐渐接近疑似海域，我们还会加长瞭望时间，进行海上观测。

徐挺：上次补给还能支持比较长的时间。如果从21日开始算起，补给还可以维持22天左右的时间。如果在这期间没能发现什么，还需返回珀斯进行补给。
北青报：怎样和外界保持联系？听说船上人员可以用微信和外界交流？
徐挺：微信使用的机会比较少，主要还是依靠卫星电话和外界联系。
北青报：现在每天的工作流程大致如何？
徐挺：每天下午搜完卫星云图后，我们会对气象情况做出判断，一般下午6点左右会召开例会。随着向疑似搜寻物品慢慢靠近，我们船上的工作人员现在也是轮流休息，确保船上24小时有人观察。
