　　人民网北京4月29日电?据河南省平顶山市中级人民法院网站消息，28日上午，河南省平顶山市中级人民法院依法对周口市政协原副主席任连军贪污、受贿案进行公开宣判，以受贿罪判处被告人任连军死刑，缓期二年执行，剥夺政治权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产；以贪污罪判处其无期徒刑，剥夺政治权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产，决定执行死刑，缓期二年执行，剥夺政治权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产；违法所得予以没收，上交国库。

　　平顶山市中级人民法院审理查明：在2003年底至2012年5月期间，被告人任连军利用担任沈丘县委副书记、淮阳县县长、县委书记等的职务便利，以归还往年度欠款、办公经费不足、购买字画、外出办事等为由侵吞公款共计1229余万元，归个人所有；还借逢年过节、亲属住院婚丧、办理下属职务晋升、承揽工程等机会，非法收受他人现金、银行卡、美金、黄金、住房、手表等贿赂500余次，共计价值人民币2293余万元。

　　平顶山市中级人民法院审理认为，被告人任连军身为国家工作人员，利用职务便利，大肆侵吞公共财物，收受他人贿赂，为他人谋取利益，其行为已分别构成贪污罪、受贿罪。任连军犯罪数额特别巨大，所犯罪行极其严重，应依法严惩。鉴于其能如实供述犯罪事实，认罪态度较好，且有积极退赃情节，对其判处死刑，可不立即执行。遂依法作出上述判决。

　　宣判后，被告人任连军当庭表示不上诉。
