习近平在贺电中说，1994年4月29日，中蒙双方修订并签署《中蒙友好合作关系条约》，从战略高度和长远角度，指明了中蒙关系发展方向，明确了双方加强政治、经济、人文等各领域互利合作的基本原则，宣示了中蒙致力于世代友好，永远做好邻居、好朋友、好伙伴的决心和信心，成为20年来中蒙关系不断取得新成就的重要保障。今年是中蒙建交65周年和《中蒙友好合作关系条约》修订20周年，也是双方商定的中蒙友好交流年。我高度重视中蒙关系发展，中方愿同蒙方一道，推动中蒙战略伙伴关系取得新的更大发展，更好造福两国和两国人民。
