The Ministry of Foreign Affairs： Asian Affairs should be solved by Asian countries led

In 29th April 29, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Qin Gang's regular press conference on introduction Asia Summit. Qin Gang said China is a yaxin Presidency from 2014 to 2016. Asia Summit held in China this year. 　　有记者问，请进一步介绍此次亚信峰会有关情况。目前有多少国家和国际组织确认出席？中方对此次峰会有何期待？

　　秦刚称，目前在受邀的亚信大家庭中，已有近40个国家和国际组织将派团与会，其中14位国家元首和政府首脑、8位国际组织负责人已确认与会。现在距离峰会开幕还有一段时间，有关各方的与会情况还在陆续反馈中。等距离峰会更近一段时间，再向大家提供最后参加情况。

　　秦刚指出，当前亚洲形势总体是稳定的，求和平、谋合作、促发展是本地区的主流。当然也要看到，当前的国际形势复杂多变，亚洲地区安全形势中的复杂因素也在上升，传统安全和非传统安全领域的挑战与威胁交织。如何在一个和平、安全、稳定的环境下通过合作谋求共同发展与繁荣，是本地区各国都在思考的一个重要课题，也是本地区各国人民的普遍愿望。

　　秦刚表示，亚信是目前亚洲地区在安全领域最大的多边论坛，横跨亚洲各次区域，涵盖不同制度、不同文化、不同宗教、不同发展阶段的国家，具有广泛的代表性。通过这样的平台，亚洲各国加强对话沟通，共同探讨如何维护和促进亚洲安全，是非常有意义的一件事情。

　　秦刚称，中国是2014年至2016年的亚信主席国。今年的亚信峰会在中国召开。我们将尽好东道主义务，同有关各方加强沟通与配合，使这次峰会能够取得更多共识，开出成果，开出实效。特别是我们要推动本次峰会树立亚洲新安全观，倡导共同安全、综合安全、合作安全和可持续安全，积极探讨建立亚洲安全与合作的新架构。

　　秦刚强调，我们要向世界发出这样一个声音：亚洲事务应该由亚洲国家主导解决，亚洲国家有能力、有智慧通过加强合作来维护和促进亚洲的安全。

　　秦刚最后称，本次会议将是亚信自成立以来规模最大的一次会议。相信在各方共同努力下，本次会议一定能够达到预期目标，成为亚信发展史上、在亚洲安全与合作进程中具有里程碑意义的盛会。
