今天,美国雅虎公司宣布一个重要决定。从今天起,任何新老用户访问雅虎网站,默认情况下都会被跟踪,无论是否启用浏览器的Do Not Track(请勿跟踪) 功能。即使你在雅虎搜索设置请勿跟踪,雅虎公司仍然会继续跟踪用户,收集用户上网信息。

请勿跟踪,即Do Not Track。这时一项由隐私保护组织发起的互联网行为准则,其中Mozilla火狐浏览器、IE浏览器Chrome先后加入该功能。开启请勿跟踪后,浏览器将自动向目标网站发送“Do Not Track”指令,阻止网站继续收集当前用户上网使用习惯或者个人数据。

据雅虎官方公告介绍。“从今天起,任何一款浏览器访问雅虎网站时,请勿跟踪功能均将失效。我们网站的隐私管理可以有效管理用户隐私,整个过程无需第三方浏览器介入。另外,跟踪用户习惯并推送个性化的广告并不是难以令人接受的方式。”

目前,谷歌公司同样也忽视该行业准则,依赖用户信息投放精准广告。

微软旗下的IE10IE11浏览器均默认开启请勿跟踪功能,支持阻止谷歌公司等广告公司对用户信息的收集活动。
