　　王先生是事发小区另一幢居民楼的居民，他目击并拍摄下了火灾的全过程。据王先生回忆，下午2点25分左右，他发现24号楼有冒烟起火的迹象，随即拨打电话报警，同时用iPad进行拍摄。王先生表示，消防车赶到现场后，有4、5名消防队员冲入火场：“这几个消防员下车之后，就往24号里冲；跑过我身边的时候我还对他们说，一定要注意安全。”

　　然而，大约10分钟之后，悲剧发生了。王先生和其他众多小区的居民眼看着两名参与扑救的消防队员从起火的13层窗口摔出，直直跌落到2楼平台上。据现场另一名目击者称，其中一名牺牲的消防队员似乎是失去了重心，突然从窗口处探出身；另一人可能是想伸手去拉，结果同样失去了重心，最终双双坠楼。
