高中曾开发首款盲人游戏
“过去，我们盲人圈里一直有人抱怨没有能玩的游戏，而我最大的乐趣就是开发软件。于是，琢磨了一段时间后就动手开发了一款棋牌类游戏。”谈起第一款视障游戏软件的面世过程，诸晓鸣说得十分轻松。
他告诉记者，虽然视力不佳，但自从接触电脑起，他就梦想着成为一名程序员。高一那年，为了能够学会开发软件，他还专门报名参加了相关课程。
“当时我们有读屏软件，上网看新闻已经不是问题了，但其他的娱乐生活仍是一片空白。”诸晓鸣说，那时，他十分羡慕普通人可以没事打打游戏。于是，在掌握了基本开发软件的技能后，这位90后大男孩便在高三时小试牛刀，开发了一款棋牌类的游戏软件。
据介绍，这款名为“超自由”的棋牌类视障游戏类似于QQ游戏，有斗地主、80分等免费项目。在语音提示等无障碍功能的帮助下，视障者可以通过操作键盘，和正常人一样打牌。在游戏推出后的短短一年内，就吸引了1万余名视障玩家。
这次的成功让诸晓鸣颇受鼓舞。在此基础上，他又相继开发了角色扮演等网页类游戏，在视障者的游戏圈子里获得了不小的名气。
“全国各地的玩家都有，他们会给我打电话提建议，也邀请我去玩。”诸晓鸣笑着表示，这种被人记住和称赞的感觉让他十分自豪。
知道什么软件可以服务盲人
除了游戏，诸晓鸣也试着开发了不少服务盲人的无障碍软件。“眼睛看不见，开发软件也非科班出身，如何能做得更好？”面对这般质疑，诸晓鸣自信地表示“看不见”其实是他最大的优势。“我是无障碍软件的使用者，在设计时能有结合自己切身的使用感受，这是非常难能可贵的。”
据他介绍，如今，市场上有很多服务盲人的无障碍软件，但其中不少都是以“明眼人”的视角来设计，盲人的体验效果却差强人意。“就比如说，有的读屏器是由鼠标控制的，鼠标移动到某一个指定项目上，就可以查看内容。虽然听起来很方便，但盲人根本没法看到鼠标位置啊。还有，一些软件没有处理掉flash的弹框，这样也很容易造成卡壳。”
为此，诸晓鸣重新设计了一款读屏软件。盲人们只需敲敲键盘，就可以随心所欲地浏览网页。

终于实践梦想当上了程序员
虽然酷爱开发软件，但在真正择业时，诸晓鸣一度陷入了迷茫。
“传统概念里，盲人都是做推拿按摩的，最多还有调音。立志要做程序员的盲人好像还没有过。”诸晓鸣告诉笔者，他曾去特教学校实习过，但教书的日子和他的理想相差甚远。思考再三，诸晓鸣萌生了创业的念头。虽然这个想法很快得到了三位盲人校友的支持，但是，启动资金、办公场地、甚至父母的反对等一系列问题却令他犯愁。
去年3月，在一个创业活动中，诸晓鸣偶尔结识了普陀区残联劳动服务所副所长魏峰。得知诸晓鸣的情况后，后者专门请专家对他进行了一对一的创业辅导，还提供了免除其办公场所的房租、水电等福利政策。在这些好心人的帮助下，去年十月，由诸晓鸣和他三个盲人同伴所组成的信息公司就正式成立。
“很多还在盲校的学弟、学妹知道后都很高兴，说没想到盲人还能从事这么高科技的活儿，一些人还表示以后也想来当程序员。”诸晓鸣表示，目前，他们正在与财经大学的学生一起开发一款大学生理财应用，未来也将更加注重对于普通人的软件开发。“我们可以把无障碍软件也运用到普通软件中来，如语音指导等，相信能带来更加体贴细致的服务。”
