In 1975, Haier joined Meyer United States Department of Defense, serving as the Defense Advanced research projects Agency (DARPA) in charge. Two years later, he returned to the corporate world, and Bell Communications Research Institute has worked at Texas instruments.
Haier in 1936, Meyer was born in the United States in Philadelphia. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and Princeton University doctoral degree.
