3D动漫电影《功夫少林寺》启动制作
昨天上午10点，少林寺大禅堂内，梵音绕梁。3D版动漫电影《功夫少林寺》发布会拉开帷幕。
这是第一部动漫形式的少林寺电影，也是台湾著名漫画家蔡志忠的第五部动漫电影作品，以动漫电影为载体，传播禅宗文化。
在发布会的背景板上，电影的三位主角亮相：袈裟披肩的达摩祖师、蓝衣光头的小蚱蜢和红衣长发的小葫芦。
蔡志忠介绍，影片以达摩祖师西来、传承禅宗为基本架构，讲述少林小武僧小蚱蜢与小禅师小葫芦在少林寺学武习禅的故事，并通过传说中的少林木人巷、铜人阵、三十六房、十八罗汉等丰富的少林寺元素，让整部片子能从头到尾都“好看好笑”。
据了解，水墨画、中国风，将是这部电影的总基调。该片将历时15~18个月制作完成，片长约85分钟。同时，《功夫少林寺》的网游或手游，将与电影同步面市。
解读
禅宗弟子蔡志忠的8年心血之作
《功夫少林寺》的制作过程中，编剧、导演，蔡志忠“一肩挑”。除了这些，他还有一个身份—少林寺禅宗弟子。
“把少林寺拍成动漫电影是我一生的梦想。”蔡志忠说，这是他第五次来少林寺，而产生拍少林寺动漫电影的念头，是30年前。

为打造这部禅意十足的动漫作品，他从2006年起，利用创作出版漫画的空当，创作打磨脚本。为配合电影时长，最初创作的34500字的脚本要删减到2万字左右，“由于我本身研究佛陀思想与禅宗思想，我保证本片一定充满禅味。”
“我不敢说《功夫少林寺》能像30年前李连杰主演的《少林寺》那样轰动，但我保证将这部片子拍成好莱坞水平，发行全世界。”蔡志忠说。
少林寺方丈释永信说，蔡志忠将多年研修、创作禅宗少林的心得和发现以3D动漫电影的形式呈现出来，能更好地将少林文化传播到世界，发扬了少林功夫的“禅武合一”精神，相信能带来全新的感受。
蔡志忠其人
蔡志忠，生于1948年，台湾彰化人，著名漫画家，一直致力于用独特的画风，将中国古代典籍中博大精深的思想深入浅出地呈现给读者。
15岁起开始成为职业漫画家，1971年底进入光启社任美术设计，并自学卡通绘制技术。
1976年成立龙卡通公司，拍摄了《老夫子》、《乌龙院》等长篇动画电影。曾获1981年金马奖最佳卡通片奖。
1983年开始创作四格漫画，已有《庄子说》、《老子说》、《大醉侠》、《光头神探》等100多部作品在30多个国家和地区以多种语种版本出版，销量超过了3000万册。
