Foreign Media： Beijing leapt to world cities ranked 8th

　　据《日本经济新闻》网站5月4日报道，美国知名管理咨询公司科尔尼(A.T. Kearney)发布的“2014年全球城市指数”显示，东京仅次于纽约、伦敦、巴黎之后，位居全球第4位，夺得亚洲首位宝座。不过，其他亚洲城市也在奋力追赶，比如北京由此前的14位跃居到了第8位等。

　　该指数对城市作为商业基地的魅力、吸引优秀人才的能力、文化及艺术设施的数量等26个项目进行评价。在前十大城市中，亚洲占到了4个。东京的排名未变，但评分却低于2年前的水平。这主要是因为越来越多企业开始将营业网点向新加坡及香港转移。

　　报道称，北京除了经济增长之外，国际学校、美术馆及通信环境等基础设施建设不断完善也得到了好评，摆脱了大气污染这一不利因素的影响。而首尔由原来的第8位下滑到了第12位。
