China requested Viet Nam to stop Chinese companies operating any form of interference

　　中方表示，5月2日以来，越南对中海油田服务股份有限公司在中国西沙群岛海域开展的正常钻探活动进行强力干扰，中方深感意外和震惊。

　　中方说，西沙群岛是中国的固有领土，不存在任何争议。中国企业在中国西沙群岛海域的作业完全是中国主权、主权权利和管辖范围内的事。越方对中国企业的正常活动进行干扰，严重侵犯中国的主权、主权权利和管辖权，严重影响正常的生产作业秩序和中方作业平台的安全，对中越关系也带来了完全不必要的困扰。

　　中方表示，面对越方干扰，中方不得不加强现场安保力量，对越方的干扰行为予以阻止，以维护海上生产作业秩序，确保航行安全。中方要求越方切实尊重中国的合法正当权益，回归理性，立即停止任何形式的干扰行为，立即从现场撤走船只和人员。
