“这种病毒以前在德国、瑞典、美国以及台湾曾经报道从水禽鸭和野鸭当中分离到过这种H5N6病毒。但是就我们目前掌握的情况看，他们原来报道的分离的病毒基本上对禽是属于低致病性的，但是这次根据病毒基因的序列分析，最后证明它对禽是高致病性的，所以还是有所差别的。”
专家建议民众加强呼吸道传染病的防控，注意通风换气、合理作息、勤洗手等个人卫生习惯，不接触和食用病死禽，购买鲜活禽类时注意查看检疫证明。
