　　5月7日，凉山州昭觉县宜牧地乡村民在家附近发现了一只大熊猫，在地里打滚弄得全身是泥。这是昭觉首次发现野生大熊猫，因发现地不能满足其食物需要，5月8日下午，它被送往了邻近的美姑县大风顶国家级自然保护区。

　　5月7日下午1点过，昭觉县宜牧地乡洼地宜牧地村村民吉布作布和妻子、儿子三人回家，在他家附近一处竹林旁，发现了一只在泥巴地里打滚弄得全身是泥的大熊猫，当地立即组织村民将大熊猫就地保护起来。

　　随后，邻近的美姑县大风顶国家级自然保护区管理局工作人员赶到现场进行营救。经过详细检查，确认大熊猫没有受伤后，8日晚7点，大熊猫被装上车，启程前往大风顶自然保护区。
