据报道，京东商城开放平台业务总经理蒉莺春担任拍拍网总裁将全面负责拍拍网的战略规划、运营和业务发展。原银泰网CEO林琛先生正式加盟京东集团，出任集团旗下独立子公司拍拍网的运营副总裁。

据京东内部人士透露，京东希望通过拍拍网布局C2C市场，使其原有的电商生态将在B2C的基础上得到进一步丰富，通过引入海量中小商家和长尾商品完成对消费者需求的全面满足。
此外，京东传统的3C、母婴、汽车等商品类别，以及服装、海外购、农业产品等，都将是拍拍重点发力建设的品类。除了在规则和体验上的重塑，新拍拍网将重点发力二手拍卖市场。
目前，拍拍网商家的招商规则和优惠补贴方案正在制定中，预计将在6月底开始大规模的招商。
