在此次公开宣判、公开逮捕和公开刑事拘留的案件中，备受社会关注的去年“4·20”案件也在此次公开宣判中。2013年4月20日，阿布力米提·阿布都拉等3名罪犯手持刀斧等凶器，用极其残忍的手段将伊宁市一家四口居民杀害，连最小的3岁幼女也没放过，其行径惨绝人寰、灭绝人性、丧尽天良。阿布力米提·阿布都拉等3名罪犯被依法判处死刑。同时，一批违法触犯法律，特别是分裂国家、包庇窝藏、婚姻领域非法念“尼卡”强奸罪的犯罪分子，也一同进行公开逮捕、公开刑事拘留。
