　　今年3月初，北京警方根据侦查中掌握的线索，组织警力，在朝阳区三里屯等地区，对外籍涉毒人员开展集中清理整治行动，盘查可疑人员30余名，从中抓获外籍涉毒人员10余名。

　　经审查，警方发现多个外籍涉毒团伙，并迅速成立专案组，开展专案侦查。经过连续工作、深入侦查，专案组逐步摸清了外籍涉毒团伙的活动规律。这些涉毒团伙成员多数为外籍人员，多从南方夹带毒品来京，活动地点在朝阳区东坝、三里屯地区一带。专案组在充分掌握证据后，于近期集中收网。

　　5月16日凌晨，专案组在朝阳区工体北门附近，将正在贩卖毒品的2名外籍人员分别抓获，当场起获毒品冰毒、摇头丸40余克。后又在嫌疑人暂住地起获毒品冰毒、摇头丸560余克。2名外籍人员因涉嫌贩卖毒品罪，已被北京警方依法刑事拘留。

　　据北京警方介绍，仅5月15日至25日，警方通过连续开展抓捕行动，即抓获外籍涉毒违法犯罪人员10余名，收缴各类毒品630余克。

　　北京警方表示，下一步将继续严密监控各类涉毒重点地区、涉毒人群，严厉打击各类涉毒违法犯罪活动，为民众营造和谐文明安全的社会环境。(完)
