被曝携款5亿出逃
陈怡此前为上海保险中介龙头企业——上海泛鑫保险代理有限公司的总经理，被称为美女老总。2013年8月，媒体报道称，由于资金链断裂，陈怡携款5亿元出逃国外。
当年8月19日，陈怡在斐济群岛共和国被抓获归案，并被押解回国。
上海一中院昨日发布消息称，公安机关侦查终结后，于2013年11月18日移送检察机关审查起诉。上海市检察院第一分院就本案依法提起公诉。上海一中院将择期就本案进行公开开庭审理。
对于“携款5亿出逃”的说法，陈怡在看守所接受媒体采访时称，“真有五个亿我也不用走了。”上海警方证实，陈怡在外逃时携带现金并非5亿元，而是折合人民币700万元的外币和一些奢侈品。
