江西省教育厅通报称，这起事件的发生，暴露出该幼儿园安全意识淡薄，日常管理工作不规范，教训深刻，为防止类似事件再次发生，切实维护幼儿身体健康，特此予以通报。
江西教育厅要求，严格规范幼儿园装修改造管理工作。各教育行政部门、幼儿园必须按照有关文件规定，严格规范幼儿园装修改造管理工作。幼儿园的设备设施、装修装饰材料、用品用具和玩具材料等，应当符合国家相关的安全质量标准和环保要求，必须向证照俱全的正规生产、经营企业购买设备、装修装饰材料，坚决避免装修污染对幼儿健康带来伤害。

江西教育厅还要求，各地教育行政部门要结合本地实际，认真开展对幼儿园教职工的安全教育培训工作，切实提高幼儿园从业人员的安全意识和安全管理水平，防患于未然，坚决避免因管理疏漏和其他不当人为因素引发安全事故。
