李立国向拉马福萨转达了中国国家副主席李源潮对其就任副总统的热烈祝贺，高度评价新南非在民族和解和国家建设事业中取得的巨大成就，表示中方高度重视中南关系，愿意充分利用中南国家双边委员会机制，推动中南全方位务实合作，将两国全面战略伙伴关系提高到新的水平。

5月24日，祖马就任南非新任总统，开始了自己第二个为期五年的总统任期。5月25日，祖马公布了由副总统拉马福萨和35位部长、36位副部长组成的内阁名单，新内阁成员于5月26日宣誓就职。(完)
