Wang China uphold impartiality and objectivity in Korean peninsula issues position

On May 26, 2014, Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi with the Korea Foreign Ministry Chief Executive Yin Bingshi held talks in Seoul.

Wang said the visit Korea is visiting relatives, classification of friendship, cooperation, and on the next trip. Sino-Korean relations are in the best period, facing new development opportunities. Both sides should deepen the strategic and cooperative partnership on the starting point, in enhancing mutual trust on the basis of opened new areas for bilateral cooperation and inject new momentum provided firmer guarantees.

Yin Bingshi said ROK political mutual trust and economic cooperation flourished, personnel exchanges and maintained good communication and coordination in international affairs. ROK is willing to deepen cooperation with China for the benefit of peoples of the two countries.

Wang said that the Chinese have always maintained on the peninsula issue fair, impartial, objective, commitment to the peaceful settlement of the nuclear issue on the peninsula to realize denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, opposes any manufacture of tension. As host of six-party talks, the Chinese side to resolve the nuclear issue on the peninsula through dialogue has played a constructive role, carry out due diligence. The resumption of the six-party talks in line with the common interests of, all parties should make their own efforts to this end.

Yin Bingshi says six-party talks to resolve the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula is very important. The ROK attaches great importance to China's role in the six-party talks, willing to work together with China to promote the resumption of the six-party talks.

　　2014年5月26日，外交部长王毅与韩国外交部长官尹炳世在首尔举行会谈。

　　王毅表示，此访韩国是走亲戚、叙友谊、话合作、谈未来之旅。中韩关系处于最好时期，面临着新的发展机遇。双方应在高起点上深化战略合作伙伴关系，在增进相互信任基础上，为两国合作开辟新领域，注入新动力，提供更坚实保障。

　　尹炳世表示，韩中两国政治上相互信任，经济合作蓬勃开展，人员交流日趋活跃，在国际事务中保持良好沟通协调。韩方愿与中方不断深化合作，造福两国人民。

　　王毅说，中方在半岛问题上始终秉持公平、公正、客观立场，致力于和平解决半岛核问题，实现半岛无核化，反对任何一方制造局势紧张的言行。作为六方会谈东道国，中方为通过对话解决半岛核问题发挥了建设性作用，履行了应尽职责。恢复六方会谈符合各方共同利益，各方均应为此作出自己的努力。

　　尹炳世表示，六方会谈对解决朝鲜半岛核问题十分重要。韩方高度重视中方在六方会谈中发挥的作用，愿与中方共同努力，推动重启六方会谈。
