On May 26, 2014, Korea, Park Geun-Hye, President met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi in Seoul's Blue House.
Park Geun-Hye said, and thanked the Chinese Government and people in "days" expressed condolences to the ROK in its shipwreck. South Korea condemned the terrorist attacks recently in Urumqi, advocates the international community's fight against terrorism. South Korea is committed to deepen and enrich the Sino-ROK strategic and cooperative partnership, may close high-level exchanges with China, strengthen pragmatic cooperation. The ROK appreciates China's constructive role in resolving the nuclear issue on the peninsula, and willing to work with China to maintain peace and stability on the Korean peninsula. ROK is also the Greek Cypriot side to improve and develop relations with North Korea.
Wang said that China is making efforts to realize national rejuvenation of Chinese dream, Korea also created the second miracle of the HANJIANG River and the era of national happiness, Korea development integration onto each other. China will select Korea as more important partner in future, to achieve prosperity and development, maintaining peace and stability on the peninsula, promote revitalization of Asia. To this end, the two sides should further explore the emerging strategic industries, accelerate the process of Sino-Korean free trade negotiations, will be raised by construction of "Silk Road economic belt" and the "marine Silk Road" concept with the ROK's "Silk Road Express" concept connected, powerful alliances to develop co-operation in Asia, new world. Strengthen exchanges at all levels and consolidate the Foundation of friendly societies and public opinion, and further facilitate the flow of people for both sides. Made positive comments on the Chinese side, Park Geun-Hye, President of "confidence-building process on the peninsula," ideas, supporting both North and South of the peninsula's bid to improve relations. China always adhere to the goal of denuclearization of the peninsula, ready to work with South Korea to promote the early resumption of the six-party talks, the nuclear issue on the peninsula genuine inclusion of sustainable and irreversible process, effective dialogue.
2014年5月26日，韩国总统朴槿惠在首尔青瓦台会见外交部长王毅。
朴槿惠表示，感谢中国政府和人民在“岁月”号沉船事故中向韩方表达的慰问。韩方谴责日前乌鲁木齐发生的恐怖袭击，主张国际社会共同反对恐怖主义。韩方致力于深化和丰富中韩战略合作伙伴关系，愿与中方密切高层交往，大力加强务实领域合作。韩方赞赏中方在解决半岛核问题上发挥的建设性作用，愿与中方共同维护朝鲜半岛的和平稳定。韩方也希同朝鲜改善和发展关系。
王毅说，中国正致力于实现民族复兴的中国梦，韩国也在开创第二汉江奇迹和国民幸福时代，中韩发展方向相融相通。中方愿选择韩国作为今后更重要的合作伙伴，共同实现繁荣发展，维护半岛和平稳定，促进亚洲振兴。为此，双方应进一步开拓新兴战略产业合作，加快中韩自贸区谈判进程，将中方提出的建设“丝绸之路经济带”和“海上丝绸之路”构想同韩方提出的“丝绸之路快线”构想相连接，强强联合共同开拓亚洲、世界新的合作空间。加强各层次交往，夯实睦邻友好的社会和民意基础，为双方人员往来进一步提供便利。中方积极评价朴槿惠总统提出的“半岛信任进程”等设想，支持半岛南北双方谋求改善关系。中方始终坚持半岛无核化目标，愿同韩方一道推动尽早重启六方会谈，把半岛核问题真正纳入可持续、不可逆、有实效的对话进程。
