Wang： the Sino-ROK relationship is in its best period

Wang Yi said that Sino-ROK relationship is in its best period of today. China is Korea's largest trading partner, largest export country, the largest source of imports, the largest foreign investor, the largest object to the flow of people, the largest source of overseas students. Sino-ROK relations have stood upon the high starting point.

Wang said, in the face of new changes in international and regional situations, China selected Korea as more important partners, enrich and deepen the Sino-ROK strategic partnership.

First of all, China and South Korea to do joint development partners. Both sides continued to play on the development strategy of complementary advantages, quality upgrading, focus more on strengthening the emerging strategic industries, adding new impetus to their development. Join hands, beyond the Sino-Korean relations, to Asia and the world, opening up wider development space.

Secondly, China and South Korea want to be partners in maintaining peace. China is the largest neighbor of the Korean peninsula, maintaining friendly relations with both North and South Korea. China's hope that the North and South of the peninsula to improve their relations, and hope the realization of independent and peaceful reunification of the peninsula, most want to maintain peace and stability on the peninsula, this is completely in line with the tripartite of the fundamental and long-term interests of North and South Korea. 　　王毅表示，今天的中韩关系处于历史最好时期。中国已经是韩国最大的贸易伙伴，最大的出口对象国，最大的进口来源国，最大的外贸投资国，最大的人员往来对象国，最大的海外留学生来源国。中韩关系已经站到了很高的起点上。

　　王毅表示，面对国际和地区形势的新变化，中方愿选择韩国作为更加重要的合作伙伴，丰富和深化中韩战略伙伴关系。

　　首先，中韩要做共同发展的伙伴。双方要继续发挥发展战略上的互补优势，提质升级，更加注重加强新兴战略产业合作，为各自发展增加新动力。强强联手，超越中韩关系，面向亚洲和世界，开辟更加广阔的共同发展空间。

　　其次，中韩要做维护和平的伙伴。中国是朝鲜半岛最大的邻国，与朝韩双方都保持着友好关系。中国最希望半岛南北改善关系，最希望半岛实现自主和平统一，最希望维护好半岛的和平稳定，这完全符合中韩朝三方的根本和长远利益。为此，中方始终致力于维护半岛和平稳定，推进半岛无核化进程，通过对话和平解决半岛核问题。这次访问期间，韩方表示愿克服困难，排除障碍，寻求改善南北关系的途径，愿积极创造条件尽快恢复六方会谈，中方对此表示赞赏。我们希望在各方共同努力下，将半岛核问题真正纳入可持续、不可逆、有实效的对话解决进程。

　　第三，中韩要做振兴亚洲的伙伴。亚洲的一体化和发展振兴是人类社会文明发展的必然趋势。可能有些人不愿看到这一前景，但这是不可阻挡的历史潮流。亚洲振兴要在开放的环境中，通过国际合作来实现，但最重要的是要靠我们亚洲各国人民的自觉努力。中韩两国完全有能力、有条件共同为亚洲振兴发挥积极作用。
