Nokia recently announced that the company has acquired travel planning, artificial intelligence (AI), Desti, in order to provide users with more travel data, thus further enhancing the features of Nokia maps HERE.

Desti is an artificial intelligence application based on Siri and Nuance are similar technologies, artificial intelligence and natural language can be used to help users find their way to all the necessary data and information, such as restaurants, tourist attractions, events and hotels. Desti application information can be found, and save this information directly to the users of the planning, so as to allow the user to be used during the next trip. For example, if the user enters "where can I find cooking Italy gourmet restaurant? "Or" pets allowed hotels settled "and so on, then the app will perform Web searches, and related site information comes up, and display, which also will include sites such as TripAdvisor and Foursquare messages.

Desti application can also search for online travel service-related meta-data, such as comments and user data. It is worth mentioning that, this application also can be based on user demand, customized searches, and through friendly dialogue, brings together recommendations related to the information.

However, so far, Nokia has not details on how it will integrate Desti. However, for HERE map services search and location information, Vice President of Tang·zhaleisiji (Don Zereski) revealed that Nokia wants "to create a new location service, prior to the user will be able to acquire information such as users and user needs".

Overall, this acquisition Nokia Desti, or do you want to raise HERE a map service capabilities of the platform. Desti是一款基于Siri和Nuance相似技术的人工智能应用，可以使用人工智能和自然语言来帮助用户找到旅行途中所需要的一切数据信息，诸如餐馆、旅游景点、活动地和旅馆等。Desti应用可以发现这些信息，并将这些信息直接保存到用户的相关规划之中，从而让用户在此后的旅行过程加以使用。举例说明，如果用户输入“我能在哪里找到烹饪意大利美食的餐厅？”或者是“允许宠物入驻的酒店”等，那么这款应用就将进行网络搜索，并将相关网站的信息汇集起来，之后并展示出来，其中也会包括TripAdvisor和Foursquare等网站信息。

Desti应用还能够搜索在线旅行服务相关的元数据和用户评论数据等。值得一提的是，此应用还能够根据用户的需求，进行定制化搜索，并将通过非常友好的对话方式，汇集相关的建议信息。

不过，目前为止，诺基亚仍未详细透露未来将如何整合Desti应用。不过，主管HERE地图服务搜索和位置信息的副总裁唐·扎雷斯基（Don Zereski）透露称，诺基亚公司希望“打造一种全新的位置服务，以便在用户提问之前就能够掌握用户身份以及用户需求等信息”。

总体而言，诺基亚此番收购Desti，还是希望来提升HERE地图平台的服务能力。由于双方均未透露此次交易的相关详情，因而具体交易价格也不得而知。据称，作为此次交易的一部分，当前的Desti应用将会被关闭。与此同时，诺基亚还将这款同时服务于iOS系统的应用撤出了应用商店。
