根据国家质检总局发布的信息，此次公布的94个进口品牌基本囊括大家熟悉的洋品牌，如多美滋、雅培、雀巢、惠氏、合生元、圣元优博等。
不过记者也发现，一些行业内很知名的纯进口品牌并未在名单中。不过国家质检总局表示，名单中所公布的信息为已通过国家质检总局注册的境外婴幼儿乳粉生产企业生产的产品信息和进口商信息。实施境外乳品生产企业注册规定前已进口，但目前尚未获得注册批准的生产企业及其相关进口商和产品信息不包括在内。
另外，国家质检总局还表示，新获得注册批准生产企业的相关进口商和产品信息将定期更新。这也意味着今后还会有进口洋品牌奶粉获准进入中国市场。
据了解，自今年5月1日起，被业内称为“史上最严”的洋奶粉新规正式实施，其中就包括未经注册的境外生产企业的婴幼儿配方奶粉不允许进口。
截至目前，国家质检总局公布了两批获得进口婴幼儿配方乳品境外生产企业的注册名单，总共有49家生产企业获得认证。
此前有业内人士分析认为，国家此番规定，目的是要过滤掉“假洋鬼子”，因为境外生产企业并非仅加工某一个奶粉品牌产品，它们代加工的品牌很多，有的甚至能代工几百个品牌，但这些代工品牌今后不可能都能进入中国市场。
“从目前来看，49家海外工厂加工的婴幼儿奶粉能进入中国市场的品牌有94个，相当于一个工厂平均生产两个品牌产品”，乳业专家王丁棉表示，此前我国市场进口奶粉品牌多达约800-1000个，这在很大程度上遏制住曾在中国市场泛滥的“假洋鬼子”，这些“假洋鬼子”基本上是由中国人在海外注册，然后找海外工厂代加工贴牌生产并专供中国市场。
由此可见，此番整顿，进口奶粉品牌目前淘汰率非常高。

“此次的94个品牌名单中，一些有争议的、甚至曾有丑闻的品牌进入”，王丁棉表示，如纽贝贝等。
据悉，去年被央视曝光的标明新西兰原装进口的“纽贝贝”牌婴幼儿奶粉，其总代理地址竟然是一家修车厂。不过记者也注意到，给其代加工的生产企业是此次获得中国认证的49家企业之一且是世界三大洋奶粉代加工厂之一的新西兰善腾集团。乳业分析师宋亮认为，或许是其进行了整改，或许另有其他原因。
王丁棉表示，“49家获注册的工厂代加工的品牌很多，之前这些品牌基本都能获准进入中国市场，但现在，有些工厂代加工的一些品牌获准进入了中国，而其代工的另一些品牌却不能进入”，王丁棉表示，此次淘汰进口品牌的标准到底是什么？这应当对外公布，才显得更透明、更公正。
