枪支走火致人死亡事件初步查明
云南网讯 (记者 杨之辉)记者从曲靖市公安局新闻办公室获悉，2014年5月30日13时15分，罗平县公安局指挥中心接罗雄街道白龙潭村一村民报警称：有人持刀在村中闹事。罗雄派出所遂指令正在附近蹲守抓捕另一案件嫌疑人的4名民警处警。
4名民警赶到现场后获知：当日上午，罗平县罗雄街道办事处白龙潭村村民顾某平孙子满周岁办酒席，邀请本村村民李某坤、陈学理、罗某生等人到家中吃周岁酒。饮酒后，李某坤因认为邻居陈某广家建房侵占了村中公共通道而心怀不满，用石块将陈某广家的围栏砸坏，又返回家中拿了一把菜刀和一把杀猪尖刀去找陈某广。13时15分，陈某广向罗平县公安局指挥中心报警。
罗雄派出所4名民警按照指令出警处置，处警民警来到李某坤家进行调查时，正在李某坤家中的罗某生、陈学理等人借酒滋事，对处警民警进行围攻并辱骂殴打，情况紧急，同在现场处警的民警杨某某鸣枪示警，陈学理仍不听警告，继续对民警罗某某实施殴打，后民警罗某某和杨某某合力将其强行带离至处警车辆旁时，民警罗某某去开车门，陈学理拒不上车并与民警杨某某发生撕扯，导致民警杨某某鸣枪示警后仍握在手中的枪支走火并击中陈学理。
发现陈学理受伤后，处警民警在联系120急救的同时，立即会同伤者家属和村民将陈学理抬上处警车辆送往医院，在途中将伤者移至赶来的120救护车上送往罗平县人民医院，该院立即组织全力救治，后陈学理因救治无效于5月31日凌晨1时38分死亡。
事件发生后，云南省公安厅高度重视，要求曲靖市、罗平县两级公安机关认真查明情况，依法依规、客观公正处理。目前，曲靖市公安局已组成工作组赶到罗平督导处置工作；罗平县已组成处置工作小组开展相关善后工作；检察机关已经依法介入调查。
