On June 19, United States Patent Vringo operating company and its associated companies suspected of acts of abuse of a dominant market position in Europe, ZTE has applied to the European Commission antitrust investigation, to investigate such acts requires Vringo.

In the course of two years of negotiations carried out since, Vringo insists that its patently unreasonable licensing fees, and continued to initiate proceedings to more countries, that the mass action as a bargaining chip by interfering with normal market operations of ZTE, seeking dominant bargaining position, to coercive ZTE accepted as soon as possible its price high and unreasonable patent licensing purposes.

ZTE said, reasonable patent claim of respect for others, and has been seeking to cross licensing, package deal, including resolution of intellectual property disputes in the industry, has been with Qualcomm, Siemens, Ericsson, Microsoft, have reached broad consensus, signed dozens of global IP cross-licensing agreement.

ZTE said, but for any patent hegemony and aggression, we will never compromise. Chinese advocate before resorting, polite, articulate. If peace efforts don't get respect, rational, legitimate ways, as we resolutely fight back. Acts of patent abuse against Vringo, ZTE will be retained further in each country the right to take legal action against Vringo in order to safeguard the interests of customers and the company without interference.
