Li keqiang meets with United Kingdom Parliament Speaker disusha

China News Agency, London, June 18 (reporter Guo Jinchao Zhou Zhaojun) Chinese Premier Li keqiang, 18th in the afternoon local time in London with United Kingdom Parliament House of Lords speaker Baroness disusha. Both sides had a cordial and friendly conversation.

Li briefed disusha on the outcome of the visit to the UK. He said that development on Sino-British relations are on the right track, areas of cooperation is increasingly widening. My current visit to Britain, the two sides deepened mutual political trust, push forward the cooperation in economy and trade, science and technology, education, finance and other fields, strengthen civil exchanges, laid a more solid foundation for further development of bilateral relations.

Li pointed out that parliamentary exchanges are an important part of Sino-British relations, bilateral cooperation in political, economic, cultural and people to people communication plays an important role in promoting. Wished to further strengthen bilateral exchanges and cooperation, and welcomes more United Kingdom parliamentarians to visit China, joint efforts for the British and wider and brighter future in paving road to understanding, built bridges of cooperation.

Disusha warmly welcomed Li's visit. She said the close Anglo-Chinese exchanges, cooperation has been deepened. Currently, China is a more open attitude to the world fusion, United Kingdom society hope to learn more about China. United Kingdom Parliament attaches great importance to developing relations with China, and hopes to continue regular exchanges, parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries closely in touch, play an active role to promote China-Britain friendly.
