Hua Chunying, said China supports the 68th session of the UN General Assembly review of the United Nations global counter-terrorism strategy, and participated in the consensus on the relevant resolutions. She said that at present, information technology such as the Internet has become an important tool for terror activities. More and more terrorist recruitment to extremist groups using the Internet and social media, dissemination of critical thought, imparting critical technologies, raising terrorist funds and planning terrorist attacks. Dangers of cyber-terrorism have become increasingly prominent.

She said: "we are pleased to see that the international community on cyber-terrorism against increasingly widespread understanding of and cooperation in the fight against cyber-terrorism". She said the hope that the international community, in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions calling, to live up to their obligations, strengthen cooperation and join hands to fight cyber-terrorism activities, jointly safeguard the security and stability of the international community.

Hua Chunying, stressed that China is a victim of terrorism. In recent years, many serious cases of terrorist attacks of violence in the territory. Chinese police on the case shows, most of the violence had been "shipped East Turkistan Islamic" terrorist groups published horror audio and video through the Internet to incite, and seductive. "East Turkistan Islamic games" use the Internet to spread rumors that terrorist extremism, not only contributes to the development of terrorist extremists inside China, but also contributed to regional and international terror spread of extremist ideology, cause serious harm.
